From the rear photo of this 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt Sedan, notice that the license plate holder is located low on the vehicle, in the rear bumper (as opposed to being located higher up on the trunk.) The license plate holder is quite shallow, nearly flush with the rear bumper.
Also notice that the tail lights stop at the edge of the trunk and wrap around to the sides of the car in a triangular shape. The reverse lights are small circles mounted just below the actual tail light which is a larger circle. This Cobalt also has spoiler mounted on the top of the trunk. The center brake light is mounted in the trunk lid.
The Cobalt has an antenna mounted on the passenger side rear quarter panel, the same side that the round fuel tank door is located.

The front of the 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt Sedan has a main grill section between the headlights that is split half-way by a chrome band with a gold Chevrolet "bowtie" emblem in the center. There is also three openings in the lower part of the front bumper that make up the air dam. The headlights incorporate the turn signals and wrap around the front corners of the vehicle. Also note that the windshield washers are concealed (not attached to the hood of the vehicle as in some models.)
This side photo of the 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt Sedan shows no fuel filler door on the drivers side and is in fact located on the passenger side. The rear "C" pillar is also very thick toward the trunk area. The rear side windows split into two pieces. The side photo also shows how much the tail lights wrap around onto the side of the car as the come to a slightly downward facing point.
